Each year members of AABA come together to share research through talks, panel discussions, workshops and poster sessions. Some of these events focus on community engagement activities during which members of the Education Committee along with community educator partners share the work they are doing in their communities.

Announcement: Join us at the National History Museums of Los Angeles County

What makes us human? Scientists from the American Association of Biological Anthropologists organization in collaboration with The Leakey Foundation will be at the NHMLAC Homeschoolers' Day Event to talk about the biology and behavior of humans, primates and human ancestors. We will have casts of bones from apes, monkeys, and extinct fossil species for visitors to touch, and to spur questions and conversation. We will also be happy to talk about scientific careers and what research is like in the lab or the field.

Find us in the Age of Mammal Hall from 930 am to 3 pm on March 20. All ages are welcome!
