Applications for the Student Volunteer Program are now being accepted. We need student volunteers for both the Reno and Online programs, so there are lots of opportunities. The registration fee will be waived for students accepted into the program, or reimbursed if already paid.

The deadline to apply is March 7, 2023.

All volunteers must:

  • Be a student member of AABA for 2023
  • Complete the application form in its entirety before the deadline of March 7, 2023
  • Choose one of the following forms of assistance:
    • Provide assistance to AABA Session Chairs during TWO scientific sessions during the virtual Annual Meeting (April 3-5, 2023). This involves assisting the Session Chair during the live event and checking/monitoring the session chat boxes every few days between April 3 - April 30 to make sure questions are answered and that all comments are in line with AABA's Code of Conduct.
    • Provide assistance during the Reno meeting (April 19-22). This could involve assistance at the registration desk, A/V in meeting rooms, or other activities as needed. Assistance at the in person meeting is our greatest need.
    • Act as a student photographer at the in person meeting in Reno

In the event that there are more applicants than volunteer spots, positions will be offered in the order that the applications are received.

Students who are granted support will be notified by e-mail. If you are granted support you are obligated to provide assistance during the meeting; failure to fulfill your obligation will cause immediate cancellation of your support.

Thanks for your help!

If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to email Vice President & Scientific Program Chair Kristi Lewton.
