The Department of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington invites applications for a one-year, full-time lecturer position (not tenure eligible) in biocultural anthropology, beginning September 16, 2015. Reappointment for an additional year or years is possible pending funding. We seek a biological anthropologist who has a record of successful teaching at the undergraduate level. Applicants must have earned a doctorate by the date of appointment; applicants who have not completed their PhD at the time of application will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will include six undergraduate courses in biological anthropology, across three quarters of a nine-month academic year. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Salary is competitive.
