Accessibility at AABA 2024
AABA is working to increase accessibility at our annual conference
All podium presentations will use automatic voice-to-text transcription using PowerPoint subtitles (you don’t need to add your own subtitles). You may also use built-in PowerPoint tools to check accessibility.
Presenters are reminded to implement accessible fonts and color schemes in their presentations (see links below).
The conference venue will have access to:
- quiet room with low lighting and reduced sensory stimulation
- family and lactation respite room
- secure refrigerator for medications
- fidget spinners – available on request at AABA registration desk
- eye masks for sleeping – available on request at AABA registration desk
- ear plugs – available on request at AABA registration desk
Most presentation rooms will be single-level. One room will be set up with a stage for presenters that includes stairs (Platinum D). If you have access requirements, please contact Lori Strong.
