Call for Participation: Survey on Educational Formation and Workforce Pathways in Forensic Anthropology

Greetings AABA Members,
Individuals who are currently practicing or have previously practiced forensic anthropology within U.S.-focused contexts (including casework, consultation, research, teaching, or applied roles) are invited to participate in a brief anonymous survey examining educational formation and early-career professional pathways. Coursework alone does not constitute eligibility for this survey.
This descriptive study aims to characterize training backgrounds, graduate program structure, applied exposure, employment sector, credentialing status, and workforce mobility patterns among individuals engaged in forensic anthropology practice in the United States (including U.S. territories). The project seeks to provide aggregate data on educational trajectories and professional positioning across training models.
The survey is anonymous and requires approximately 7–10 minutes to complete.
