The Department of Anthropology at the University of Kansas invites applications for a faculty position at the tenure-track, Assistant Professor level in molecular genetics. Candidates must be involved in an active research program in molecular genetics and its application to human migration and health. They should possess: quantitative skills, have bioinformatics/data analytical experience and be involved in field research and laboratory methodologies. Candidates must be able to teach introduction to biological anthropology, other evolutionary courses, and laboratory methods to undergraduate and graduate students, and to contribute to the broader university environment. Required qualifications include a Ph.D., or ABD in Biological Anthropology (or a similar field) from an accredited school by 08-18-2015.
