Assistant Professor/Associate Professor position in Anthropology

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Nazarbayev University invites applications for an Assistant professor/Associate professor position in Anthropology, to begin in August 2018. We are looking for an anthropologist with an expertise in any subfield of medical anthropology or biological anthropology whose research interests complement rather than duplicate existing faculty research interests. Special consideration will be given to applicants with regional expertise or research interest in Eurasia. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in Anthropology, preferably from a leading international university.

Responsibilities include a 2/2 teaching load, research, and departmental and School service. The University offers opportunities for research support.
