Full Time Anatomy Instructor

This faculty member will be part of the Anatomy Department at Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM). This individual is responsible for teaching in one or more of the following: medical school courses (primarily gross anatomy, with the ability to assist or learn neuroscience), PA, DPT, and post-baccalaureate anatomy courses using traditional and innovative modes of delivery. Experience with human dissection is essential, and knowledge of neuroscience beneficial. Duties for this hard-money position also include participation in curriculum development and implementation; serving as an academic advisor; membership on SOM and University committees; participation in the interview and selection process of SOM students; continued scholarly activity and participating in campus and community service activities. This position reports directly to the Anatomy Chair.

Education/Experience:

•An earned PhD in one of the anatomical disciplines from an accredited institution of higher education, and a record of scholarly activity.
•Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching medical gross anatomy with cadaver dissection.
•Successful track record in teaching and leadership at an accredited medical or professional school.
•Be a member in good standing in appropriate professional organizations.
