Post-doctoral Scientist: Neural and Genetic Factors Underlying Primate Cognition and Communication
This position is for an NSF-funded Postdoctoral Scientist to participate in interdisciplinary research on a project titled “Neural and Genetic Factors Underlying Individual and Phylogenetic Variation in Communication”. This research is based in the GW Evolutionary Neuroscience and Primate Genomics Labs and will involve multi-disciplinary analyses of many types of data from a large sample of chimpanzees, including genomic/DNA sequences, brain histological data, neuroimaging, and behavioral data. Experience with research techniques in neuroscience, genetics, or bioinformatics is preferred.
