The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI is seeking applications from individuals devoted to a career in instruction of anatomy to undergraduate, health professional, and post-baccalaureate and students to fill a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position.

The Department of Biomedical Sciences is a research-intensive department that is responsible for teaching a broad medically-oriented curriculum to a variety of undergraduate and heath professional students, including students in the Marquette University School of Dentistry, Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and Master’s Programs in Physician Assistant Studies and Athletic Training.

Our non-tenure track teaching faculty are equal contributors to the department’s mission. As a result, the successful applicant for this position will be compensated at a level comparable to our tenure-track, research-oriented faculty including an excellent salary and benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to be a full and active participant in the Biomedical Sciences department and engage in service activities at the college/university level. Teaching requirements include undergraduate courses that use model- and prosection-based approaches as well as classes that involve intensive cadaver dissections.

Candidates who have enthusiasm for and experience with undergraduate academic advising, curriculum development, and outreach / community engagement activities focused on communities traditionally under-represented in STEM are especially encouraged to apply.
