University of California, Riverside tenure-track position in biological anthropology

University of California, Riverside, Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track position in biological anthropology beginning July 1, 2015. We seek applications from candidates whose research and teaching interests focus on past human populations, especially in bioarchaeology concerned with health issues resulting from class, gender, or ethnic differences through the study of osteological remains, both in their burial and lived contexts. The ideal candidate’s research and teaching should interface with one or more of the areas of departmental strength. The successful candidate will be expected to teach lower-division as well as upper-division and graduate courses in her or his field of specialization. Candidates must be ABD at the time of application and must have a PhD. by the time of appointment (07/01/15). Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
