The Department of Geography and Anthropology invites applications for an Assistant Professor position beginning August 2015. This position will be full-time, tenure-track, with a typical teaching load of two courses fall and spring semester each year, Biological Anthropology etc.; and will meet with and advise graduate and undergraduate students.

Candidates should have a promising program of research, excellence in teaching, potential for external funding, and an interest in graduate mentoring.

Candidate will conduct scholarly research with a focus in Biological Anthropology; work closely with other Anthropologists.

Required Qualifications: A PhD degree in Anthropology or a related field is required at the time of appointment; candidates should have a strong background in skeletal biology, to complement that of current faculty.

Preferred Qualifications: Areas of expertise in which we are interested include, but are not limited to, analysis of isotopes, trace elements, or DNA, biochemistry, and evolutionary developmental biology.
