Assistant Professor (or above)

The Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the Boston University School of Medicine invites applications for a full time Assistant Professor or above (contingent upon level of experience) to direct and teach in our dissection-based Physician Assistant Gross Anatomy course and teach in the lecture and laboratory components of the dissection-based human Medical Gross Anatomy course. This hire will also be expected to fully participate in the Vesalius Program (http://www.bu.edu/vesalius/), our degree program for training the next generation of educators in the biomedical sciences as well in our program in Forensic Anthropology. Minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in Anatomy or equivalent and 2+ years of anatomy teaching experience at any level. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching dissection-based human gross anatomy and strong interest in training future educators in the biomedical sciences and/or the application of neuroscience principles to education. Candidates should have demonstrated research potential through participation in national meetings and publications.
