Teaching Faculty in Anatomy, Northeast Ohio Medical University
The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is recruiting an Anatomy Educator within the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology of the College of Medicine. This is a full-time, temporary (~1 year) position to be filled at the Assistant Professor level. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a strong background in the teaching of gross anatomy and experience in curricular design, especially related to development of virtual content. Primary responsibilities will be in the teaching of anatomy to students in the health professions and in curricular design in related areas of the medical curriculum. The position requires abilities to explain basic science concepts, to relate these to clinical issues, and to develop virtual curricular content related to gross anatomy. The Anatomy and Neurobiology Educator will report to Chair of the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology.
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. and/or M.D. Experience in formal teaching or guidance of undergraduate and graduate research is highly desirable.
