Teaching Faculty Position

The Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology at Indiana University School of Medicine invites applications for a teaching-intensive faculty position at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Assistant Clinical Professor, depending on qualifications. (Note: Assistant Clinical Professor is an Educator Track rank and does not require an MD degree or clinical training.)

This is a 12-month, renewable, non-tenure-track position. Responsibilities of this position include team-teaching medical, professional, graduate, and undergraduate students. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO, or DPT) and have experience teaching dissection-based human gross anatomy. Experience teaching histology, neuroanatomy, and embryology are highly desirable. Successful candidates will participate in lectures, laboratory sessions, and small-group interactive sessions. Opportunities to engage in scholarly activities related to medical education and comparative and functional anatomy research may be provided.
