The Department of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking applications for a full-time lecturer position in Biological Anthropology to begin August 1, 2020. This full-time, non-tenure-track position is renewable yearly, contingent upon evidence of excellent teaching, demand for instruction, as well as available funding.

Qualifications for this position are a Ph.D. in Anthropology or related field, with a special focus in Biological Anthropology, and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Prior online teaching experience preferred. Teaching load consists of four lower division courses in biological anthropology per semester. Teaching duties include courses in evolutionary biology and paleoanthropology, with additional courses of flexible content.
