The Department of Biomedical Education and Data Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position for an anatomy educator/scholar. Applicants should have training and experience teaching in the anatomical disciplines, including gross anatomy, histology (microanatomy), neuroanatomy and embryology. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.O., M.D. or equivalent). The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the Philadelphia and Bethlehem campuses.
The department has a strong teaching program and faculty members play a major role as educators and directors of multiple courses in the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Podiatry. Recent graduates of teaching-track PhD programs in anatomical sciences are encouraged to apply. Academic rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience.
