Teaching Assistant Professor of Anthropology

The Anthropology Program in the School of World Studies at VCU invites applications for a full-time, term (non-tenure-track) position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2022. We are seeking an individual who will (i) spearhead the development of the online pathway for the Anthropology BS; (ii) teach a 4-4 course load online, with possible course reductions for development of online course work; (iii) contribute service as a faculty member in the Anthropology program and the School of
World Studies; (iv) contribute to the intellectual and pedagogical life of the School. This is a one-year, renewable position.
