Assistant Teaching Professor of Anatomy

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor of anatomy beginning June 2015. The primary responsibility of this position is teaching technology-enhanced anatomy education to pre-health professional undergraduate students and developing and implementing online anatomy instruction in collaboration with the anatomy teaching team.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to individuals with experience in teaching human anatomy. Applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Candidates with interests in morphology-based research and whose interests complement those of current faculty in the Integrative Anatomy group (http://anatomy.missouri.edu) will be given greatest consideration. The Integrative Anatomy Group provides a collegial environment with substantial opportunities for intellectual creativity and diverse research. The position requires a PhD, MD or equivalent in professional training and expertise. Application will be accepted until the position is filled.
