Lecturer, Biological Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology seeks a biological anthropologist whose research emphasizes a developmental perspective on human biology and variation, with an emphasis on evolutionary approaches to development and health (such as life history theory or the developmental origins of health and disease) and/or the interaction between human biology and the environment. Areas of interest include anthropological dimensions of genetics, epigenetics, nutrition, energetics, or the microbiome. We are interested in individuals who conduct field-based research integrating biological data within an ecological and social context. Geographic areas are open.
Likely courses include: Human Genetics, Evolutionary Medicine, Human Evolution and Adaptation, Biological Anthropology Theory and Proactive, and a fifth class to be determined.
