Assistant Professor of Anthropological Genetics – Yale University

Yale University, Department of Anthropology anticipates making a tenure-track appointment in anthropological genetics at the starting assistant professor level, beginning on July 1, 2016. Priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated research interests in genetic approaches to issues in the evolution of human and/or nonhuman primates. Appropriate fields include, but are not restricted to, the genetics of nonhuman primate behavior and ecology; genomic variation, including that associated with disease risk; epigenetics and the genotype-phenotype linkage in human and nonhuman primates; and the reconstruction of population histories, dispersal patterns, and modern human origins.
