Post-Doctoral Fellow, Anthropology
With the support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Anthropology Department at Wellesley College seeks applications for a two-year post-doctoral fellow, with an expected start date of July 1, 2016. We are seeking an archaeologist whose work will compliment our existing faculty and enhance the educational experience of our students, with special consideration given to expertise in bioarchaeology or ethnoarchaeology. The fellow will be asked to teach two courses per year, including an introduction to archaeology course. The fellow will also be affiliated with the Newhouse Center for the Humanities at Wellesley College. The successful candidate will demonstrate innovation and excellence in scholarly research as well as a strong commitment to teaching within the Liberal Arts context. All candidates should have Ph.D. by start date of employment.
