The Departments of Exercise Science and Physician Assistant Studies, Congdon School of Health Sciences at High Point University, announces a nationwide search for a full-time tenure-track Human Anatomist with rank commensurate with experience.
We are seeking an innovative, dynamic individual to join an interprofessional (Exercise Science, Physician Assistant, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy) education team of faculty and clinicians in a team-oriented environment.
Preference will be given to those candidates who are outstanding teachers, who have an active research program, and who can provide comprehensive anatomy instruction to both undergraduate and graduate learners as well as those pursuing careers as medical clinicians.
Requirements of this position are as follows:
• Earned PhD
• Teaching experience in an academic program
• History of scholarship
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate human anatomy, human anatomy lab with cat dissection, advanced human anatomy, advanced human anatomy lab with human cadaveric dissection, and human microanatomy, as well as graduate human gross anatomy with human cadaveric dissection related to content in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program and Master of Science in Athletic Training Program.
The candidate will work and collaborate with Congdon School of Health Science anatomists in a brand new, state-of-the-art anatomy laboratory and anatomical gifts program.
