The Heritage College is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction in Medical Anatomy to participate and lead in the delivery of our integrated medical curriculum on our Dublin, Ohio Campus with a preferred start date on or before August 1, 2026. The selected candidate will join a group of faculty in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, which will allow the successful candidate to gain training and expertise in additional disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities:
Teach anatomical sciences, histology, neuroanatomy, and embryology in an integrative team-based teaching and learning environment, including medical morphology labs and large group interactive learning sessions.
Collaborate closely with faculty members across the three Heritage College campuses to develop and lead curricular content (i.e., learning objectives, team- based learning sessions, resources, assessments) in a timely manner.
Prepare anatomical prosections as needed.
Participate in small group coaching and mentoring of osteopathic medical students.
Provide service to the college such as interviewing prospective candidates for admissions to the Heritage College, participating in college-planned outreach activities, serving as faculty representative to a student organization(s), etc.
Commit to ongoing professional development and/or advancement activities.
Commit to excellence and innovation in medical education with an emphasis on active learning.

Minimum Qualifications:
ABD at/near time of application; Completion of doctoral level degree requirements, i.e., PhD, DO, MD, or equivalent by the start date of the position
Teaching experience in dissection-based human gross anatomy

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in teaching histology, neuroanatomy, and/or embryology is preferred.
