NC State Distinguished Professor of Sociology or Anthropology
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Carolina State University (NC State) invites applications at the senior associate or full professor level for the Goodnight-NC GlaxoSmithKline Foundation Distinguished Professorship in Social Sciences. The ideal candidate will be a nationally and/or internationally recognized sociologist or anthropologist (any subdiscipline) working in at least one of the areas of race, health, or wellbeing (e.g., economic, environmental, or community well-being). Preference will be given to candidates whose work focuses on at least two of these areas. Review of applications will begin on January 21.
