In this 4-year PhD project, the student will use musculoskeletal modeling, simulation, and 3D imaging methods to analyze the loading in human lower limb bones, joints, and muscles during locomotor tasks used in subsistence hunting, including walking, running, crouched walking, and walking with loads.

The applicant should have a background in human anatomy and locomotor biomechanics. A master's degree and demonstrated experience with musculoskeletal modeling and simulation using OpenSim software are required. Questions may be directed to Martin Hora (mrtnh@seznam.cz).
