AAPA Education Committee Outreach Activities in Cleveland

The AAPA Education Committee has shifted gears with our outreach efforts this year, as the Cleveland area schools are on spring break during the week of the AAPA conference. Instead of doing classroom visits and a teacher workshop, we have been working closely with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History on plans for family-oriented, object-based “table activities” at the museum which will take place every day of the conference (Wednesday – Saturday) between 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm! 

At the request of the museum staff there, we are also conducting a professional development workshop for their in-house informal educators on Wednesday from 3-5pm.
