The portal for submission of applications for the Student Presentation Awards is now open. The deadline for applications is February 22, 2019. The competition is open to all students who are first authors on podium or poster presentations at the 88th Annual AAPA meeting in Cleveland, Ohio (March 27-30, 2019). 

The association offers a number of presentation prizes covering all aspects of research in biological anthropology. We are particularly pleased to announce a new Student Presentation Award, the Journal of Human Evolution Prize, that is sponsored by JHE and Elsevier Publishers. This new award is for the best poster or podium presentation in the field of human or primate evolution.
