Evan Garofalo

Dr. Garofalo is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Clinical Anatomy Block at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She received a B.A. from Tulane University, M.Sc from the University of Bradford, and Ph.D from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Center for Functional Anatomy and Evolution. As an anatomist and biological anthropologist, Dr. Garofalo studies human skeletal growth, variation, and development of bone strength in past populations and is interested in questions related to anatomical knowledge retention. In her life and professional service, she has a focus in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
