The 2027 Abstract Submission Portal will open on September 15, 2026. Please visit the Abstract Submission Webpage for information on how to prepare and submit your abstract. The deadline for all abstract submissions is October 15, 2026.

Deadlines for 2027 prizes and awards:
- October 15, 2026: Nomination deadline for Darwin, Lasker, Midcareer, and AABA and Leakey Foundation Communication & Outreach Award in Honor of Camilla Smith Awards.
- October 15, 2026: Student Presentation Award application submissions due. You must fill out a form (available soon) to submit along with your abstract submission.
- December 5, 2026: Pollitzer Student Travel Award submissions (presentation not required to apply)
- January 5, 2027: Cobb Professional Development Award submissions
