- Symposia are intended to provide the opportunity to bring together experts–biological anthropologists and others—to address an important topic or theme in a coherent fashion and to highlight new advances, topics and areas of emerging interest.
Proposals for Contributed Papers and Posters (Deadline: Sept. 15, 2016 — 11:59 pm PDT)

- Contributed research presentations convey leading research results to our peers. The AAPA meetings offer the opportunity to deliver presentations in either a poster or a podium format. The program committee will assign your paper or poster to an appropriate session based on the key-word classifications you provide.

By registering to present and/or attend the AAPA Annual Meeting you agree to follow the AAPA Code of Ethics and specifically recognize that:
“It is unethical in any professional setting, including the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, to use the inequalities of power that characterize many professional relationships to obtain personal, sexual, economic or professional advantages. Sexual, sexual identity or racial/ethnic harassment is unethical behavior under the American Association of Physical Anthropologists Code of Ethics.”
