Visiting Professor, Medical Morphology

The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a human anatomist to participate in the delivery of our integrated medical curriculum on our Dublin, Ohio Campus. The primary responsibilities will be to participate in a team-taught anatomical sciences active learning environment. The applicant must have a minimum of a master’s degree in Anatomy (or related science) by 1 August 2023 and ideally, a background in teaching dissection-based human gross anatomy at a professional school (e.g., medical, dental, graduate school, etc.) level. Additional background in teaching histology and/or neuroanatomy is desirable, but not required.

The selected candidate will join a diverse group of medical educators and researchers in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, allowing the successful candidate to gain expertise in additional disciplines. This faculty position is full-time, 9-months, non-tenure track and will be hired at the rank of Visiting Professor. The position will be based on the Dublin campus and will begin 1 August 2023.
