Lecturer – Biological Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks a full-time Lecturer position in Biological Anthropology to begin August 1, 2022. This is an academic year, non-tenure-track appointment with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance and funding. The teaching load consists of four courses in biological anthropology per semester. Teaching duties may include courses in Human Osteology, Forensic Anthropology, Introduction to Forensic Science, Paleopathology, Bioarchaeology, Introduction to Biological Anthropology, and additional courses of flexible content that serve students in the Anthropology Major-Forensic Science Concentration.
Qualifications Qualifications for this position are a Ph.D. in Anthropology or related field with a special focus in forensic anthropology and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
