The University of Missouri, School of Health Professions, Department of Health Sciences, seeks applicants for two full-time tenure/tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor. Specialty areas desired include but are not limited to Public Health (Community Health and Education, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Environmental Health, etc.), Social Determinants of Health, and Global Health. The Department’s strengths include the following areas: HIV/Aids, Vulnerable Populations and Health Disparities, Rural Health, and Health across the Life-course. PhD or DrPH in Health Sciences related profession or closely related field required. Candidates will be evaluated on their background in the health sciences, ability to teach in an academic setting and scholarly productivity, including the potential for grant success. The position includes teaching health sciences core courses including introductory public health courses, research and service to fit School/Department needs.
