Yale University – Department of Anthropology, Postdoctoral position
The Department of Anthropology at Yale University invites applications for a full-time, two-year Postdoctoral Associate position in human evolutionary biology commencing July 1, 2017.
The successful applicant will work in collaboration with Professor Richard G. Bribiescas and the Yale Reproductive Ecology Research Group on one of several research projects that address the evolutionary biology of reproduction, aging, behavioral endocrinology, and/or behavioral economics. A Ph.D. degree in anthropology, demography, human biology, public health, or related fields at the time of appointment is required. Laboratory experience in endocrinology or a related area, field research experience, and field language skills are highly desirable.
Review of applications will begin on February 17, 2017. Interviews will be conducted at the American Association of Physical Anthropologists/Human Biology Association Meetings (New Orleans, LA, April 18-22, http://www.humbio.org) although other interview arrangements can be made for short listed candidates.
