Position Description: The College of Science at Benedictine University invites applications for a full time assistant professor position in the Department of Biological Science beginning fall 2018. The department is seeking a candidate with expertise in the area of human anatomy. The area of specialization is open to candidates who can teach human cadaver-based anatomy as well as biomechanics, embryology, histology, or developmental biology. The successful candidate will establish and participate in faculty/student research at the undergraduate level. Startup funds are available.

Required Qualifications: Earned Ph.D. in a biological science; a minimum of one year postdoctoral experience is preferred. Successful prior experience teaching undergraduates and a strong commitment to involving undergraduates in research are required.
