The School of Natural Sciences and Psychology seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with demonstrated research potential to contribute to our successful undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology. The Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology affiliated with the Anthropology and Archaeology Subject Group has research themes in forensic anthropology and in the contexts of human evolution. We would welcome applications from candidates with forensic casework or consultancy experience and expertise in environmental or science-based archaeology. The ability to teach excavation techniques in the field would be desirable. This appointment is part of a strategic investment in the research and teaching of forensic anthropology at LJMU.
