My research highlights the complex nature of human variation by identifying the neutral and adaptive evolutionary processes shaping modern human craniofacial morphology. By incorporating CT and MRI imaging modalities, my research specifically focuses on the internal nasal cavity and surrounding paranasal sinuses to discern how craniofacial architecture and environmental pressures, such as temperature, humidity, and hypoxia, affect these structures.
