Yale University, Department of Anthropology – Paleoanthropology Search
Yale University, Department of Anthropology anticipates making an appointment in paleoanthropology at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, beginning on July 1, 2018. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at time of hire. This is a tenure-track faculty position with rank and tenure negotiable based on the candidate’s professional experience and accomplishments. Candidates at all ranks should have demonstrated interests in paleoanthropological research. Research specialization is open, but expertise relevant to understanding the ecological context of human evolution is desirable and evidence of an active paleontological field program is preferred.
