Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applicants for a full-time one-year position, with the possibility of renewal, as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology, beginning August, 2018. The department maintains a 2/2 teaching load. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the human skeleton, forensic anthropology, human evolution and variation and an additional course of their choice. They will also be asked to take an active role in the UWM Forensics program shared between the College of Letters and Science, School of Health Sciences, and Helen Bader School of Social Work. Lab space is available for research. The Anthropology Department has a Masters and PhD program and anticipates conducting a search for a full time tenure track appointment to begin Fall 2019, pending final administrative approval.
