Postdoctoral Associate

The Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to join the Pontzer Lab (https://sites.duke.edu/pontzerlab/) to collaborate in research in metabolic physiology and energy metabolism. Responsibilities will include equipment set-up and testing, and indirect calorimetry data collection and analysis. Experience in indirect calorimetry (respirometry, doubly labeled water) and research with living humans preferred.

Start date: September 1, 2019. Salary will be based on NIH guidelines for postdoctoral researchers. Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree by the time of appointment. This is a 12 month position, with the opportunity for renewal of an additional 12 months, based upon the annual performance evaluation.
