The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles invites applications for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in Human and Evolutionary Biology. Research area is open but individuals with training in primate behavioral ecology, functional morphology/evolutionary biomechanics, or human biology/evolutionary medicine are particularly welcome to apply. This fellowship is renewable for a second year contingent upon administrative approval.

In addition to research, the successful candidate is expected to teach 3 courses per academic year and to participate in the intellectual life of the department and other units on campus. This person will receive a stipend of $65,000 plus benefits. Applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the last five years or at the latest by August 16, 2020, the start date of the position.
