The Department of Anthropology, University of North Carolina Wilmington, seeks a broadly trained biological anthropologist to fill a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2015. Preference will be given to individuals with an active research program in areas such as paleoanthropology, human variation, growth and development, health and disease, and molecular biology. Position requires teaching introductory courses, and advanced courses in evolutionary theory and area of specialization. Preference will be given to candidates who can engage students in field- or laboratory-based research. PhD in anthropology required at time of appointment.
