Postdoc in Human Biology

The Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University is seeking applications for a post-doctoral fellow who will work with Human Biology faculty on statistical analysis and manuscript preparation using data from the Cebu Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey (Cebu City, Philippines). The specific research focus will be agreed upon by the fellow and faculty collaborators, but should engage with evolutionary and/or public health/medical themes related to the developmental origins of adult function and health or the intergenerational effects of nutrition. Inquiries about the suitability of other research topics that avail of the Cebu data are also welcome. Proficiency with statistical packages, multivariate analysis and strong writing skills are a must. A second year of support may be available contingent upon funding and performance.
