The Paleoanthropology working group of the University of Tübingen seeks to fill a limited 3 years position of a

Postdoc (m/f/d; E 13 TV-L, 100%)

in primatology. Areas of expertise include primate behavior and ecology, conservation or evolution. The position should start with the Winter 2021-2022 academic semester. It will be limited to 3 years with a possibility of extension for an additional 3 years.

The successful candidate should show a strong research agenda in his or her field of expertise. A focus on the great apes is desired, but not required. He or she will be expected to develop and conduct their independent research agenda, however the development of collaborative projects with other members of the paleoanthropology team would be desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching curriculum in paleoanthropology, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in the above-mentioned or related fields, postdoctoral experience, and an outstanding research record.
