Visiting Assistant Professor

The Boston University Department of Anthropology invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Biological Anthropology, starting September 2023. The position entails teaching 2 courses each semester, covering introduction to Biological Anthropology, the Evolution of Life History, Primate Evolutionary Ecology and the Evolution of the Human Diet. The applicant is expected to have an active research program and to participate fully in the academic life of the department, including helping to advise undergraduate and graduate students, attending lectures and symposia, and participating in department colloquia.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. completed by the start date, an active research program and a strong record of teaching excellence. Applications should be received by March 31, 2023.
