We are looking to appoint a full-time Lecturer (Teaching) in Paleoanthropology for a period of 12 months, to start in Autumn 2024.

We seek applicants with broad research and teaching expertise within Palaeoanthropology and particularly welcome those with theoretical, chronological, regional or methodological interests that complement the interests of existing staff in the Department of Anthropology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Palaeoanthropology, with a PhD in Anthropology (or a closely related field). We are looking for a candidate with evidence of high-quality teaching, and a demonstrable commitment to inclusive, research-based education who will contribute to the department's overall profile in teaching and learning, and student experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

If you have any queries regarding the role, please contact Dr Aida Gomez-Robles, [email protected]

We expect that interviews will be scheduled in the first week of July 2024.
