Visiting Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology and Human Biology (1 year)

The Department of Anthropology at Indiana University Bloomington seeks to hire a biological anthropologist for a 1 year Visiting Assistant Professor position to for the 2015-16 academic year. This hire will be shared with the undergraduate interdisciplinary Human Biology program, with teaching responsibilities split equally between the two units. We are particularly interested in a scholar with research interests that are informed by evolutionary theory and address questions of broad anthropological significance and who demonstrates ability and interest in innovative undergraduate teaching. The candidate will teach 4 courses (2 per semester), including a large introductory class in biological anthropology, an upper level or graduate course in anthropology, and 2 classes in the human biology program.
