Instructor of Anthropology
The Anthropology program at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time instructor position for 2015-2016. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in anthropology. Outstanding candidates who are in the final stages of dissertation writing (ABD) will be considered.
Responsibilities involve teaching multiple sections of undergraduate introductory four-field anthropology, and other courses depending on program need and area of specialization. The teaching load for this position is 4/4. Candidates should have experience teaching large lecture courses (e.g., 100 or more students) and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
