The School of Language, Culture, and Society at Oregon State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Biocultural Anthropology beginning September 16, 2025. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, faculty position. The successful candidate will have research expertise in the biocultural determinants and outcomes of health inequalities, a record of externally funded research, evidence of effective teaching online and/or in the classroom, and evident commitment to educational equity, effectiveness, and inclusivity. PhD must be awarded by July 1, 2025 from an accredited college or university in Anthropology or closely related field.
